9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnfortunately, our experience with this school was extremely disappointing. While the school places heavy emphasis on academics, it fails to address equally important aspects of a safe and supportive learning environment.Bullying was not handled with appropriate discipline or urgency, leaving my daughter feeling unprotected and unheard. Repeated attempts to communicate concerns through emails went unanswered, which was both frustrating and concerning as a parent. When serious issues are raised, timely communication should be a priority.Additionally, there appears to be little enforcement of dress code standards, allowing students to dress inappropriately for a school setting. This lack of structure contributes to an overall environment where boundaries and accountability are missing.A school should educate the whole child — not just focus on grades and test scores, but also character, safety, and emotional well-being. Unfortunately, this school prioritizes academics while neglecting student conduct, communication, and basic standards. I would strongly encourage administration to reassess these areas to better support students and families.Parent Review4mo ago43 Reviews - Beckford Charter for Enriched Studies

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible educational foundation my children have received at Beckford Charter. The welcoming environment for both parents and students, along with the cleanliness of the school, truly stands out. The activities and events are always fun and well-organized.I am especially proud of my now middle schooler, who is excelling in writing to the point where his current English teacher has to provide him with alternative assignments. He has shown remarkable skills in areas such as character analysis and text evidence, among others.Thank you once again to all the teachers and staff for their dedication and hard work. It has made a significant difference in our lives.Parent Review1y ago45 Reviews - Chatsworth Charter High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis isn’t the Chatsworth High school you’ve heard about from years ago! Since the magnet program and advanced studies have been emphasized, the school has become a beacon of light. Chatsworth was ranked the 23rd best high school in Los Angeles one place ahead of Sierra Canyon which cost over $35,000 a year. The list included the most prestigious high schools in Los Angeles. If they just took test results of the magnet program, they would have ranked top three and put $40,000 a year programs to shame. With the caring and supportive instructors who genuinely showed me they care about my child’s Success was refreshing. Don’t get me wrong. It is a lot of hard work and requires dedication. But the results are undeniable this program is making a difference in the students lives. If you hear the list of Ivy League schools that the graduating classes have been accepted to, you would be blown away. I look at programs like Granada hills and laugh because people don’t understand that because they are a full charter they can choose which kids tests scores to count and which not to and get great scores and ranch high BUT Chatsworth has to take the average of the whole school!!! Because the are a public LAUSD school! Let’s just call a spade a spade and call it like it is… pound for pound the biggest impact and improvement goes to Chatsworth. So proud and thankful to be a part of this amazing program!!Parent Review6mo ago24 Reviews - Check out schools near Johnson Rd.

"Nice area to walk your dogs. You’ll see lots of owners taking their dogs for walks at the campus. Everyone is respectful and has their dogs on leashes. "

"Everyone keeps to themselves. But if you are walking your dog, other people will smile and say hello. There are a lot of coyotes in the area because of the Aliso Creek so be careful. Police are nearby and they are responsive. More homeless vehicles are popping up, but those camping in front of businesses are removed quickly. Overall, very safe and clean. "

"Great neighborhood. We have lived here for 8 years and have enjoyed it. There has been an increase in crime recently but I think it's like that everywhere after Covid19. We still feel safe here though. "

"Some people don’t pick up after their dogs and I feel that is not hard to do if you want to maintain a clean neighborhood. Neighbor doesn’t like when other people tell them to pick up the poop of their dog when they walking them at times they pretend like if it’s not their dog and just walk away."
