This school offers all the amenities of a quality school you may find West of the Park. The leadership is supportive to the students, staff and parents, they provide professional development, parental workshops, and student incentives. The school has faced two mergers in the past two school years which resulted in a reduction in the overall proficiency rate. Yet the school continues to provide extra support and experiences that promote exposure for the students. The amount of partners and support services this school utilizes is astounding. My children have attended Thomas for several years we came just before the first merger and we are so happy to have come to such a wonderful school!

If you report something to the administaration especially if you have an issue well then you need to be ready to be under attack and for administration to bully you and your child!!! Instead of solving the issue they try to make up issues or redirect the problem or they just never respond. In person or email! Bullying is the least of your worries at this school.

I am a parent of an 8th grade Academy student and I think this school would be great if there were more visible authority figures, more qualified and quality instructors, and the school day wasn't spent trying to keep children in order, the school year has been extended so when the kids have breaks they students who are not in intersession have skill retention activities so that they don't lose what they've learned, and their summers shouldn't be shortened because in my opinion it's not how long they spend in school but the quality of what they're learning and qualifications of the instructors to be able to reach these students.
