My children are in third and seventh grade at Parkside. They have had a wonderful experience at this school. We moved here from another district when my oldest was in first grade, and I was nervous about the change from a much larger school. I should not have worried! We couldn't be happier with the quality of education they are getting at Parkside. I don't know who wrote the older reviews about politics or teachers playing favorites, but I think those teachers must be gone. My only regret is that the school ends after 8th grade! I wish it could become a high school and go through 12th. I do not want to send my children to Fairview High School, so we are looking at different options for my oldest for the year after next.

Very disappointed with this school year. We have a child who is struggling in Algebra and we have called the school. Was told they would call us back but got a letter in the mail that said he qualifies for extra help but they had not tried helping him. Whatever happen to no child left behind? My child is failing and they don't care!!

Fairview Elementary is a wonderful school. The teachers, staff and administrators are dedicated to the students academic and personal success. As a parent of former students and now a faculty member, I can personally say that all teachers work to give the students the best possible learning opportunities.

My son is an 8th grader and has a positive experience in this setting. He's enthusiastic about going to school, which motivates him to excel. His teachers are compassionate,caring people that display a personal interest in my sons education for which I'm grateful.
