9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been going to SOES since PreK3 and we have loved every single second of it up until this year. Her first grade teacher has been less than impressive and you can tell this is only a job for her. That she doesn’t actually care about how well her students are doing. We are only two months into the school year and I wish we could transfer to another teacher. The fact that she didn’t even acknowledge my daughter at the trunk or treat event this year was extremely disheartening. I sure do hope this is just a one off year and that next year is much betterParent Review8mo ago12 Reviews - Perry Hall High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI very much enjoyed going to Perry Hall High. I had many amazing teachers who genuinely wanted to help us kids and set us up for a good future. The atmosphere at PH was fun. There were a whole lot of kids, but we didn’t mind. It made for interesting classes and a lot of friends. I would want my future children to go here. There’s a lot of extracurricular activities and classes to help with kids specialties and interests. The child care classes are very in depth and taught me a lot.Other Review3y ago11 Reviews - Pine Grove Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not good. My daughter said that a teacher said a bad word. She also said that the school doesn’t teach you and there are a lot of fights. Find a better school!Parent Review5mo ago14 Reviews - Check out schools near Hines Rd.

"I’ve lived in this community for 4+ years and I am leaving it. It’s not a good area to live in, my experience is from the 4x4 community. There is a lot of drug activity, vacant run down properties, break in, car vandalism, unruly juveniles setting fires and stomping them out, kids tossing things at neighbors windows and cars, etc. It’s terrible."

"There are lots of kids and families in this neighborhood, and in the evenings I frequently hear them playing in the alleys or on the playgrounds. This neighborhood is a short walk from the jones falls trail, which makes for beautiful easy access to nature. There is a charter school in this neighborhood, that serves all children in the area. "

"It is chill to have a dog in the neighborhood. Super walkable and pretty views for dogs. However, rare to have a yard for a private place to let your dog out. "

"Lots to do, very walkable. Living here can be lovely, just check reviews on your landlord before leasing, that can make or break the experience. "
