Large trees abound in this bucolic setting and owls can often be heard hooting to one another in the night. Just outside the historic district, the quaint shops of downtown and the Newberry Opera House are within easy walking distance. "

    "Moved to Newberry 25 years ago, raised three kids here and LOVE IT!!! There is a reason it is known as "The City of Friendly Folk". So safe and clean. Streets are swept once a week, traffic is only a problem if you're going to the lake on the weekend, tons of hobbies and groups to explore, great country living with the city shopping just 30 minutes down the road. 2 hours to the mountains, two hours to the beach, moderate climate - who could ask for more!
