This school really needs younger and more socio-economically diverse representation. They seem really out of touch to the life of modern working parents and it operates like a quasi-private school. Communications come from so many different sources so that it becomes really hard to stay informed. I was very disappointed to find there is also a lot of screen time going on in the classroom (maybe a problem everywhere these days?) Many of the teachers are burned out and retiring. Drop off and pick up is a pain because you have to park at the bottom of a large hill and it's a bunch of tight one-way streets. With that said, the new afterschool program (LLS) is the best addition; the staff are energetic, engaged and make school fun.

"I drive to work in Berkeley. About an 18 minutes car ride. Traffic is medium in the mornings and afternoons. There are multiple ways to get to Berkeley front he neighborhood, so you can take a new route each morning. "

"Many options from driving to cross bay express bus, bart, local buses. Only difficulty is the elevation in the hills. But makes a good jog after work. "

"1962 just called and it wants Kensington back. In many great ways, but also some sleepy ways. Super cute. Super convenient little hamlet. Brutal commute to San Francisco"

"We lived in there area for four years and loved it. Our neighbors are very friendly to each other. We have community gatherings often. We watch out for one another and people are very happy to help when needed. "
