6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall a great school. Reading another review concerning “political propaganda”, I can say that the individual is probably no longer employed at the school and has a skewed perspective. Human rights are a completely separate issue from any staff member’s political or religious views, and Fruitdale does take supporting all students and their families seriously. It is a public school and public places in this nation should be safe and welcoming for all. Fruitdale Elementary is a diverse and welcoming environment. I agree that the schedule of constantly moving to different small groups is not for all students, and is definitely stressful for the younger grades and the neurodivergent students. The students spend more time with other teachers and instructional assistants than their own teachers. Having the experience of diverse teaching is beneficial but also takes away from the building of class “community”. Safety is sometimes a concern, but is foremost on staff members’ minds. Field trips are almost non-existent and encouraging more families to volunteer could be improved. The best thing about Fruitdale has always been its staff members, most are very loving and dedicated.Other Review3y ago6 Reviews - Lincoln Savage Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't think very highly of this school. The staff thinks of themselves as the lead parents over the students parents. The students are allowed to treat the staff like the students are in charge.Parent Review4y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near Hamilton Ln.

"Farms, fairs, marketplace, . Petting zoo. Homemade pies for sale in outside market. Homegrown crops, organic. Strawberries. Picking blueberries. Stands with eggs and corn, etc, in front of people’s lawns. An ‘honesty’ , friendly, feel in the area. Helping each other. Poor economy , but, the best people!! And, beautiful surroundings!! "

"The neighborhood is very friendly. Most of us neighbors know each other and our kids all play together. There's also a creek that the kids catch crawdads at and return to the water later. "

"I've lived in the same place for 25 years and raised my kids here I'm in the country yet close to town but I would still prefer even farther in the country I like even more privacy and nature the older I get. no"

"I think dog owners would like the distance they would have to walk their dog but they wouldn't like the traffic because it is a highway and drivers don't always pay attention to who's walking on the side of the road. "

"It’s a little bit of everything and everyone. Plenty of nature & busy streets, fancy estates & affordable homes, boutiques & Walmart all squished together in this eclectic community. I love being so close to the river and gateway to wilderness."

"Meth addicts are very respectful and will wait to steal your property while you're at work. Homeless lazy drunks are friendly for the most part, as long as you don't try to kick them off your lawn before noon. Police ask for more money every year while conditions stay the same while our property taxes double every few years to hire more sheriff's that don't respond it calls. Great Town! "
