"Love this place, great place to raise a family and the schools are amazing. Lived here most of my life. "

"Sellersburg is a mismanaged time capsule. The biggest mistake I ever made was moving back here once I finally got out!! Explain the crumbling infrastructure!!! 11 water main breaks in 12 months!!! No new parks, sidewalks, businesses ... nothin.... pot holes everywhere "
    • Laurie T.
"Close knit, family friendly , kids are well behaved, respectful. Everyone is watching from somewhere, police friendly subdivision, convenience of living near the town but not in, is nice. Has wonderful fire service , fast response times for all public safety services ie; Fire, Police, EMS.. "

"my car was broken into and wallet stolen but the local police found it and brought it to my home. nothing was stolen from inside my wallet. "
    • Shanda R.
"Neighbors think dogs aren’t allowed to bark. Very snooty people that think their subdivision is a private town just for them. They don’t realize they are in the county and not all of their neighbors live under the nice little home owners association rules. I’ve never seen so many entitled people inn one area. Still not smart enough to buy a home in the middle. "

"I've lived in Sterling Oaks for 15 years. Neighbors are friendly and outgoing. We have an HOA page where neighbors often post items for sale or items needed. You can even ask for a cup of sugar or ask for help to lift a heavy item. HOA fees are very reasonable compared to other neighborhoods."

"Sellersburg is a great town that has much to offer. It is a growing community. You've got your choice of three different types of schooling (public, private, and charter). It offers both a small town feel with the convenience of being only 10-15 minutes from Louisville. There are beautiful and well kept parks. "
    • Bdpaco2003
"High school basketball games and events held at the local parks by local churches and other organizations"
    • Ashley P.
"Ifs quiet and peaceful, neighbors are very friendly and will help if asked and we reciprocate. No loud cars or dogs very nice"
    • Laurie T.
"From my driveway I’m able to back out and be able to choose one of three ways to get to the downtown Louisville area.. all about 18 miles by state highway for a few miles then to onto the interstate four lanes across, or to the interstate bypass access around the area to all the local shopping areas and larger eating areas. "
    • Jennifer C. S.
"We’ve lived here for 5 years. Very friendly and everyone looks out for everyone else. A safe area with well lit streets at dusk. "
    • Goldrush6411
"the property value has increased over the previous 4 years. Also there is no HOA. HWY 403 creates ease. Near Louisville for cultural events or night life"
