The arts program is excellent and I was amazed at how frequently the teachers assessed each student to determine their progress.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Bayview Avenue School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is wonderful. I went here from 1991-1995 and now my daughter attends the school. If I have a problem, it is promptly addressed and taken care of in an appropriate manner and I am completely satisfied with the education my daughter is receiving. I love the staff and feel welcomed whenever I visit, which is frequent as I am also a member of the PTA board.Parent Review14y ago2 Reviews - Caroline G Atkinson School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a fantastic School to enroll your student in. As I attended Leo F. Giblyn in the years 2000-2004, I can attest to this. I am currently a senior in high school, and I wrote about Giblyn in my College essay. I have been accepted into Florida State University and without the experience and ;lessons learned in my tender youth at Giblyn I would not be where I am now.Other Review15y ago3 Reviews - New Visions Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter Ms. Romero took on the Principal role, the school has become more lax with the structure. I would recommend the school for anyone that has a child with a strong drive to excel because the teachers are very helpful in making sure your child is able to achieve their goals. They offer a dual-language curriculum for students in 2nd grade and beyond. The surrounding neighborhood could use some cleaning and TLC., but the school grounds and building are beautiful and clean. The food menu has a lot of variety, and they offer alternative options if your child doesn't like the menu of the day.Parent Review3y ago5 Reviews - Columbus Avenue School

"Freeport is slowly becoming queens with illegal vehicles. such as unregistered/uninsured quads and dirt bikes, The “mile” has become a haven to tourists that completely disrespect residents and property. Academically the schools are great, but the students not so much. There’s a lot of great PRO things about freeport, but there’s also a LOT of CON’s"

"The school district is very transparent. Many opportunities to be involved in the decision making process of how the school year, budget and staff hiring does. Parents know that you are providing your children a town that is diverse in ethnicity, age, culture. Provides for a rich well rounded experience "

"Freeport has its own police station, village & water. The nautical mile is a great attraction to visitors & locals. It’s a great place to get a nice seafood dinner, walk on the boardwalk or go clubbing with some friends. Also Freeport is home to many different churches for those who wish to express their religious or spiritual freedoms. "
