"Check the neighborhood thoroughly and make sure it is safe for kids and pets. Areas should be accessible. It should be clear and well lit at night as well. Greenery needs to be improved as well. Public transport needs to be improved and the roads too"
    • Ernesto S.
"I’m near two major freeways and can get far quickly, if needed. Traffic isn’t bad in Mission Valley most of the day. "
    • Ernesto S.
"I live right near the tram which is convenient but also right down the street from the 8 and 163, and the beach is a short drive, so it couldn’t be more perfect to me. "
    • Mike C.
"Very central in San Diego, super convenient and not too far from anything. It’s great if you’re a young professional or just starting a family"
    • Mike C.
"There are numerous walkways and paths with stations to pick up after their dog. Seemingly very convenient "
    • Lance P.
"No backyards as everything is condo and apartment. No real dog parks either. Well now I just need to add characters. "
    • Minioreo.withmilk
"Not a great place for dogs. Unfriendly people as well as a lot of homeless. There are also a lot of irresponsible dog owners with aggressive dogs off leash."
    • Melissa P.
"Super friendly. I love living here. However bunch of young crowds. But not much break ins etc. a big homeless community also "
    • Maranda S.
"Nice and quiet neighborhood. Plenty of shopping and restaurant outlets. Dog friendly and Accessible parking. "
    • Ernesto S.
"My apartment community has movie nights and other social events for the residents. There are also fitness events. "
    • Eric
"Easy to Commute to work in downtown SD. Two options how I commute to work. I parked my car at fashion valley then ride either bus 20 or bus 120 to work in downtown SD. If I’m running late I would take the 163 freeway and parked at balboa park then walk or bus to work in downtown SD"
    • Guidimm
"I lived here for over 3 years and I love it! Every thing is here. I don’t move the car for entire weekends"
    • Washington M.
"It's central to everything in San Diego and a center of activities for the immediate area. I enjoy the area."
    • Ashley
"Great area if you don’t have a family. No kids or park close by and the sense of a community is non existent. "
    • B
"There aren’t any community events that I attend. My apartment complex does community events every so often and has food trucks every Wednesday."
    • Averey S.
"There are a lot of transient and homeless here. As a woman, I don’t feel comfortable running alone along the river because that’s where they sleep. We have gated underground parking but our car has gotten broken into. "
    • Estella G. A.
"I lived in mission valley before all the construction when gas was a dollar. I went to cubberly elementary, graduated from Kearny high, and attended mesa college."
    • David
"Moderate traffic. Lots of mall traffic. Otherwise, easy to get around. Close to a lot of freeways and major streets "
    • Matt J.
"I've lived here for 3 years. It's in the middle of everywhere you want to be San Diego. Walking distance from restaurants, the mall, and with easy access to the freeway and the trolley. Neighbors keep to themselves mostly but they've all been very friends. Lots of dogs in the neighborhood and we love the riverwalk."
    • Kiki R.
"I just moved here and so far, really love the neighborhood feel. Shops, salon and nail salon are so close. "
    • Mariana M.
"close to everything , a lot of stores nearby , beautiful landscape, a lot of trees , security guards, easy access to the freeways "
    • Dana R.
"The neighborhood is gated and we feel safe. And it’s centrally located. Easy to access freeways to anywhere"
