8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can’t say enough good things about this elementary school. As a parent of three children who have attended, I’ve experienced firsthand the positive and supportive environment it offers. One of my children just moved on to junior high and has already received compliments from teachers about how well-behaved, respectful, and kind she is. That kind of feedback is a true reflection of the values this school instills in its students. The teachers here are the heart of the school. They maintain excellent communication with parents and are always respectful and approachable. They set high expectations for all students, but do so in a way that shows they genuinely care and want the best for every child. You can feel how invested they are in helping kids succeed—not just academically, but as kind, respectful human beings. What also makes this school so special is the sense of community among families. There’s a shared commitment to raising thoughtful, responsible children, and it creates a really strong and supportive environment.I highly recommend this elementary school to any family trying to decide where to send their children. It’s more than just a school—it’s a place that helps shape kids into the best versions of themselves.Parent Review9mo ago26 Reviews - Ladera Vista Junior High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy student took ALL of the highest level of math and science courses during four years at this over-rated high school. Instead of teaching course materials, some spent way too much time talking about their personal things during the class time. One math instructor and one from English department pulled the names of the students from the school and sent the advertisement through the mail to take their over-priced college prep courses during the summer at the college located nearby. How is it ethical for teachers to rate the kids based on how many tutors their students have and some instructors were associated with high price tutoring centers according what I saw online during my student was there? Some at this school were clearly in the teaching occupation for all the wrong reasons by talking about money envelope and more improper topics during the class time. Just like another parent said, some of these instructors are bullies and they favor the kids with aggressive behaviors with countless tutors for everything. Not only the school administrators are the waste of tax money as they are there to cover up the unethical acts of those who are associated with the school, the school punishes the ones who are victims of bullying since the school allows and condones the cheating, bullying, and lying. This school isn't worth the emotional damages that will be left on your student. I know one good teacher can make a huge impact on a child and I DIDN'T SEE one instructor from this school that really cared about his or her student. Too many at this school care about how to make money from the students from this school and get their hands on some recognition through those students with countless tutors to use on their advertisement for tutoring services.Parent Review5mo ago32 Reviews - Check out schools near Folsom.
