6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been at this school since pre-k and I have never had any issues with this school. My son does like to be active and all his teachers so far has found a great way to teach my son even though he is high energy. The dismissal process that they use for the kids bus rider and car rider schedule makes for quick pick up and drop off. All my son's teachers that my son has had alway keeps me informed on how my son is doing if I ask for information. This school has made a impact on my son and my son is always welcomed to the school and they know my son by name and not just another kid which is why I would recommend this school to anyone.Parent Review8mo ago15 Reviews - Lakeshore Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attended this school and was bullied/harassed by the band teacher who made a derogatory comment regarding his gender in front of the class, she did not apologize to him in front of the class, instead he was forced to change classes in the middle of the school year as a result of her discrimination against boys, then within a week of this event he was assaulted by an older female student on the bus of which he was never interviewed about only she was after I called the police to demand a charge against her. The school is bias against boys for sure, more than one male child told me of experiences. This school has a toxic environment for children, is run like a prison (actually worse as inmates do not receive double punishment for the same charge, but these kids do), not conducive to a learning environment and is unsafe for kids. There were 4 fights within the first 2 weeks of school. Gov Stein should strip their funds, shut them down and reorganize. The science curriculum was teaching incorrect information until I told them the online content was WRONG, they shove an iPad in front of the kids with wrong content and obviously are not teaching them. Completely disgusted at what my $5k/year in taxes gave my child as a learning experience. We have transferred to another school as a result of their incompetence. Do not send your child here, not if you want them to be successful in life.Parent Review11mo ago11 Reviews - Lake Norman High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWow - I am moving to the Charlotte suburbs next year and trying to choose a district and school that has the best overall dynamic for my son who will be a freshman. I have been put off by a couple schools in the area who didn’t do tours or were abrupt. I have also had two schools be warm and welcoming but this school which a friend who lives there had warned me against was the coldest and nastiest when I simply explained that I would like a tour or just meet with someone before buying a house in the district. I was rushed off the phone and told “we don’t do tours, we don’t like having a lot of people here, we are a very closed up school, you would have to live in our district to go here (duh),” and the most unwelcoming call I have had. I said quickly crossed this school off my list and feel sorry for any student or parent that has to deal with that kind of negativity.Parent Review2y ago17 Reviews - Check out schools near Ervin Rd.

"Not very diverse. People are also kind of nosey. But its nice area and family friendly. Alot of Mooresville consist of elderly people so people drive super slow. Its starting to get very crowded and popular though"

"Most of the neighbors that I see and reading the neighborhood app, The people that live here are very involved in keeping the neighborhood safe. Almost everyone have cameras and security systems in their homes to where they can check outside to be sure everything is safe and if they see something on site they report it not only to the police but they also let people know in the app when there’s something going on. Very family oriented. Lots a little fur babies . They are children of all ages and a pretty big senior crowd here. So much diversity and everyone is respect full of each other"

"graphing Davidson been here since 1980 now I'm in Mooresville and the only thing that changes the population. Describe a phone that's a little bit but nothing major it's just setting have that Hometown feel anymore growing up we waved at each other we hugged each other said hello to each other just not like that anymore. That is it negative to me but other than that the pool is great the kids love it!"
