2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCrossland HS has improved greatly over the past few years..... There are excellent programs in CTE (Career and Technical Education) at the school. including CISCO (Information Technology), Culinary Arts, HVAC, Masonry, Barbering, Cosmetology, Auto Tech, Project Lead the Way. etc... Students are receiving National Certifications and have received work via the programs..... Check out the CTE programs... My son passed the CISCO Certification and now works for the Government in IT...(Information Technology) and makes over 100,000 after 3 years there....Great teachers!Parent Review3y ago13 Reviews - Samuel Chase Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughters went to this school for 2024-25 school year and I have to say this school was 1 of the worst schools my daughters attended. Number 1 was the bus, it either never arrived or was always late. The stop finder app was so useless I just deleted it from my phone. The teachers were not very engaging with their students nor supportive. My daughter was bitten by another student in the past and neither the teacher or nurse contacted me. I had to reach out to the school to get some information as to what happened with my child. Their one excuse was it was a substitute teacher that day. They are not very communicative with their students nor parents or students. My daughters were sent home with a multitude of papers throughout the school year, when I asked them questions or information on some of the papers their response was mostly “they just handed us the papers and said give to your parents”. This school was so horrible I have been counting down the days to the last day of school so my girls can attend a better school this upcoming school year.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - Thurgood Marshall Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur student from another school had her cell phone stolen on a field trip by a student from this school - as proven by the tracker app which pinged it at this location on the same day it was stolen, and my contact with the principal was dismissive. His response was to bring in cops if we had a case, otherwise, he washed his hands of it. Kind of says everything you need to know about the school's culture, students, and administration. I don't think anyone with "options" would attend this school. Run don't walk if you are thinking of buying in this area.Other Review7y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near Edgefield.

"The neighborhood is very friendly and if you are out walking your dog please utilize your poop bags and clean up after your pets as most dog owners do not clean up after them!!!!"

"No dog park available in this area to walk your dog nor allow for your dog to interact with others. The cost to live isn’t too much here either... none the less it’s best to work and then go straight home. There is some people that steal packages from your door "

"It has been a lot of traffic due to the working on the roads. The are a few schools in the area, so when school starts that's when the traffic really gets kinds bad. "

"Street parking can be rude at times , when some families have more than 2 vehicles per household. They rotate cars to hold spaces and they park like they have limousines when they have a regular size sedan. "
