"Major highway running through city along Ohio River gives access to both Ohio and West Virginia. Constant improvements are being made to upgrade roads to make commutes easier. "
  • Crystal R. D.
"Quiet, calm, quick. small town, great parks, good weather, nice people, good schools, would love to live here. "
  • Manilynv85
"Even though it’s a small town it doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. It’s safe and neighborly area."
  • Womangalore94
"small, blue collar town, rural feel, even when you are in town. nice folks, but very little diversity. This is Trump country, for sure."
  • Heidi Z.
"Every fall there is a festival in the business district. At Christmas the same business district has a winter festival."
  • Heidi
"I grew up in this neighborhood hanging at my grandfather’s home, and now I live here as an adult. It is peaceful and the neighbors are kind. It is that front-porch-sitting kind of street. In the summer and fall, you can smell someone’s backyard fire and in the spring you can hear the wind chimes in the breeze. The location is close to corner markets and a short drive to major grocery retailers. "
  • MoundsvilleGal
"Great place to live and raise kids! You can walk to just about anything you need in Moundsville. Great schools too! There are several parks, sports fields, and walking trails. Check out some history at the Native American mound, the museum, and tour the old WV Penitentiary. At Christmas, Jefferson ave is all decked out for the holidays. There are several events throughout the year too. Great little town with so much interesting history!"
  • Lindarthomas1977
"Nothing i can't wait to move, this is the nosiest neighborhood. I've never had an issue anywhere else here. "
