8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHighest performing district in the county and it shows -- may have to do with the affluent families moving in, though. Driven, ambitious students who aim high. Competitive sports teams and academics. Students "work hard, play hard". District is definitely a good alternative to those priced out of Westchester/Bergen counties but still want to live in/send their child to a high performing public school.Parent Review2y ago10 Reviews - Warwick Valley Middle School

"We have a yearly Applefest and many craft and food vendors set up for the day. It’s such a nice event. We also have a great farmers market half the year!"

"Bears are always a thought when walking your dog through the neighborhood. Some areas don’t have sidewalks and you will want to avoid tall grass because the ticks are absolutely out of control."

"Warwick is a lovely town. Not very diverse in terms is minorities. I saw that as an Asian American woman in my 20s. I grew up in Westchester so I'm used that but I also love horses and country esque scenery. And I love that the town is walkable and cute and I feel safe at night when I need to walk my dogs alone. Wealthy older Town for sure but it's not like Greenwich CT or Chappaqua NY or etc. Gem on its own right. "

"I drive to NJ 20 minutes, no more than 22 mi. round trip. I may walk to any of the shops or restaurants on or off main Street, which has ample sidewalks. CVS, library, Sunoco, wine store, farmer's market, hardware store, nails, hair, cafes, bank all walkable. I'd like bike lanes & a closer mini fresh food market. lots of ppl use dollar a bus & the NJ Transit goes from NYC through West Milford & gwl to Burger King! "
