10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBubb Elementary is a fantastic school that provides a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. The data is clear: ON AVERAGE, the students here are about 2.5 grades above the average kid their age. So they're doing just fine. The facilities are modern and clean—just recently, the district spent $50 million upgrading most buildings. Every window has been replaced, security locks have been added, and the HVAC system is brand new. It’s basically a new school now, and it really shows. Even the tarmac was resurfaced and repainted. As for the bathrooms, I’ve never seen an issue, other than the occasional wet paper towels on the ceiling (which, let’s be honest, is just kids being kids). The custodial staff does a great job keeping things clean. On the topic of bullying, I haven’t experienced any issues with my son or his classmates. The staff seems proactive and genuinely invested in making sure all kids feel safe. At least in my son's class, he can't even point to a bully. I’ve heard there’s a mean kid in fourth grade, but nothing systemic or out of control. The school lunches are hit or miss, but overall, they’re fresh and made in-house. The pizza is made from scratch, and they even bake all the muffins themselves! They could do a bit more for vegetarians, but it’s clear they put effort into providing quality meals.Homework expectations feel completely reasonable. My son and the families I know have never felt overwhelmed—no one seems buried in work. In fact, there’s no homework at all in kindergarten and first grade, which I appreciate.Bubb Elementary is a warm, well-run school where kids feel safe, supported, and challenged in the right ways. If you're looking for a school with strong academics, a great community, Bubb is a great choice!Parent Review1y ago18 Reviews - Isaac Newton Graham Middle School

"People with dogs love it here! There are numerous places to walk. The weather here is perfect. Sunny almost every day (”almost” means Feb, which is rainy - winter here). Even when it rains, it sprinkles (I'm from Michigan so to me it's no big deal). The weather here is amazing!"

"Lived here almost 8 years now. I feel like I was very fortunate that I happened to stumble into such a wonderful community. All the neighbors have been incredibly friendly, and have always felt safe despite not having the best lit streets. Lots of young families, and great community park for kids and dogs. Love that it's still walkable to castro and shoreline. "

"I live in the downtown. There is no commute. I work across the street from where I live . If I did need to commute I am one block from CalTrain and Light Rail. I used to commute to Palo Alto and to San Francisco by CalTrain. Downtown Mountain View is pretty idyllic."
