7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe reason this school has gone downhill is due to the quality of students moving here since Covid. The female students changed the dress code in a terrible way, since they wanted to wear skimpy clothing. Their parents who were liberals were constantly saying derogatory statements about the swim team bathing suits etc. The climate changed as these new transplants from NJ & NY were yelling slurs and starting fights on a daily basis. Teachers who had been employed for many years left to teach in Duval county as the level of disrespect toward them escalated. The students are not the same level of students that attended this school prior to Covid. I predict it will soon be a 6/10. It is a shame...Parent Review2mo ago24 Reviews - Trout Creek Academy

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent of 3 boys at TCA and a substitute teacher, and I can confidently say we adore this school and everything it offers. My middle son has needed speech therapy and still has learning accommodations which have been incredible here. He’s grown so much because of teacher love and support that he’s at peer level in testing for the first time! My oldest and youngest sons have excelled here more than any other school they’ve attended. They’ve adored their teachers so much that they consistently talk about and visit them once they’ve moved onto the next grade. The administration is supportive of both teachers, students and parents. My kids aren’t perfect. My oldest has had referrals and been sent to the Dean, and I’m very grateful for the way they handle consequences. Honesty, accountability and integrity is important. The administration holds kids accountable so they learn, but they are calm, supportive and unbiased throughout. I also sub at TCA and adore being around the teachers and kids. The teachers don’t just leave movies for days they’re out. I love that they care enough to spend time to keep the learning going and keeping the kids on track. They put so much love and care into making sure the kids understand, are pushed to new levels, feel heard, enjoy special moments, and also stay consistent. We are so grateful to have this school for our boys!Parent Review1mo ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near County Road 210 W.

"Moved into this area in Aug of 2024 and we love it so far. Family friendly, kids out playing, people walking. Their dogs, riding bikes. It’s super quiet, well kept yards and friendly neighbors. We feel safe and love the birds we see on the pond behind our home."

"We have no sidewalks on Bishop Ests Rd. It is difficult and dangerous to walk on my road. People drive their cars quite fast on Bishop Est Rd even though the speed limit is 30 mph."
