3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is comparable to the schools in DeKalb county. They do not care about student safety, or the quality of the student’s educational experience. If you have an issue, the office will fight you instead of help you. The administration does not care about your child, but some teachers do care about their job. I wonder if they’re actually good teachers just teaching their to get their student loans forgiven.Parent Review5mo ago34 Reviews - Magill Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy main issue with this school has been with the front office staff, both during events and at other times. There has been an instance where I truly felt that race played a factor in how I was treated, which is very concerning. (And other parents sharing my race) I believe everyone should be treated fairly and equally, but I have noticed that rules are not applied consistently and seem to be enforced selectively.I am also a very non-confrontational person, so feeling singled out or mistreated as a parent who is simply involved and cares about her children is both confusing and upsetting. My oldest son has attended this school for the past two years, where he has excelled and was accepted into the gifted program. My younger son, currently in kindergarten, has also excelled and was accepted into the gifted program. Their time and growth at this school are very important to me.I do appreciate that the school offers enjoyable PTA events, and the teachers have always communicated well with me.Aside from my concerns with the front office staff, I am happy with the education my children are receiving.Parent Review3mo ago19 Reviews - Grace Snell Middle School

"No access to public transportation. Major companies buying up houses to turn into rentals. 50/50 ratio of friendly / non-friendly neighbors. (Most friendly are home owners.). Good access to groceries and pharmacies (10 min or less drive). Too much development."
