7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy biggest regret is building a house in this school district based on all the wonderful things i heard about BC schools. Apparently the good things are based on only popular kids and their Moms. Which the moms are a whole other issue. Everyone is SO unfriendly and rude. No one cares about my child or even knows who we are. It’s a struggle to get my child into school every day without tears or stomach upset. Can’t make a single friend, the kids are all mean and uncaring. I loved elementary and it makes me sad to know my other kid will soon be in this middle school and now I can’t afford to move again. I highly recommend you look elsewhere at the middle level, if you aren’t part of an in-crowd. Also my taxes went completely unaffordable for a new school that mine are too old to even get to use. Also during covid times I can say after hearing about surrounding districts, BC is NOT keeping kids and staff safe.Parent Review5y ago2 Reviews - Bloom-Carroll High School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved to the district 3 years ago with 3 kids attending the elementary school. We have enjoyed the smaller community setting. We have dealt with teachers and administrators at the K-2 level and found everyone to be very kind, courteous and genuine. My kids have special needs and those needs have been met with compassion. My oldest has multiple learning disabilities and the school has never denied helping him to the best of their abilities. I highly recommend this school.Parent Review9mo ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near Coonpath Rd NW.

"Small town feel with big city options. Neighbors are friendly, very quiet neighborhood, lots of wildlife even being 5 minutes from everything. Easy access to Columbus and other larger cities "

"There are not a lot of families with kids in them. My kid has a hard time finding kids that live here all the time and don’t just visit. "

"My commute is 34 miles mostly via the highway. It’s manageable and worth it to live here. Occasionally an accident can delay the commute but that can happen anywhere. "

"In and around Lancaster is easy but must own personal vehicle. Commuting to Columbus can be tedious. Traffic on 33 very heavy during rush hour "

"I am near everything in my community. If I can't get to ut by walking or driving, the bus is on its first stop in my area and starts at 8am. This area isn't to bad but I would nit recommend my apartments to anyone. They are invested with drugs, bugs and and slum lords. But the houses and area around are very decent."

"I’ve lived in this area from birth until 19 or 20 I moved away for about 15 years maybe a few more growing up it was a safe area neighbors friendly could leave your door unlocked I would not really be able to say the same now as most of small town USA it has been taken over by drug pushers and users this area is known for methamphetamine use and manufacturing wish it was how I remember it growing up but I still wouldn’t say it’s the worst area it’s just not as wholesome as it once was"

"People drive, skateboarding and kids riding their bikes but it’s scary because the drivers go so fast it’s scary. More younger families are moving on my as my Street is going through these changes."

"People complain too much about the barking of other dog owners. If you have a dog it will bark, if you don’t like it go live in the country. Dogs WILL bark. "

"I wouldn’t say that it’s the worst place, but it’s definitely not the best either. Lancaster is becoming more populated and because of that, there are a lot more crimes."
