5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Dickson Elementary for her 5th & 6th grade years. She was new to the public school system and she transitioned very well into it. The teachers and students made her feel very welcome and made her feel like she was family and as if they had known her for many years. I couldn't have asked for better teachers to teach her what she needed to learn in those grades and to pass with flying colors. And the office staff is always very welcoming and friendly when you walk in thru the doors. Doris Dickson truly does have Shining Stars! :)Parent Review12y ago2 Reviews - Don Antonio Lugo High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to go to this High School and I can say that this school sucked. The school focuses more on dress-coding students than focusing on their mental health. This school was genuinely horrible that I ended up doing online school because I couldn't deal with this stupidity this school had to offer. Send your child to Chino High School or somewhere else because Don Lugo is not worth it.Other Review1y ago7 Reviews - Ramona Junior High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to another school district that was a 10 because I had went to that school district in the 1980s. In the 1980s at that other school district it was very racist and I regret sending her their simply because it will attend. While Ramona may not be a 10 she's doing much better here and we are very happy and pleased with how things have been going and I regret moving my daughter out of the Chino School district because that nearby School district traumatized her as they did me. Well it may not be the nicest looking School or the newest it is easy to get in and out of in the morning and in the afternoon. So far we are pleased with the teachers and our daughter's grades have greatly improved since moving back to the Chino School district that she had left the second grade.Parent Review3y ago2 Reviews - Lyle S. It’s a wonderful environment for students from TK through eighth grade. Truly a great place for kids to learn and grow!Parent Review6mo ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near Central Ave.

"I absolutely love seeing wild rabbits and squirrels here in Chino hills. There are lots of parks and walking trails. I feel safe walking alone. This city has ZERO homeless people which is wonderful. I love how well the plants and trees are kept up by the city. A major plus is that if you ever have to call the cops for anything they arrive quickly. This is a beautiful safe city to raise a family or live alone as a single female."

"There are always people walking their dogs on leashes here in chino hills. I hardly see dog poop so I’d like to assume people are actually cleaning up after their dogs when taking them out for walks."

"The 71 to the 91 is very tight in the mornings. Any time from 6-8am it's backed up all the way from the 91 to Butterfield. Bad! And the Brea Canyon is no better. I have to go into work at 9am so not to stand in that kind of traffic, and I work in Irvine. Thank goodness for the 241 toll road off the 91. Getting out of Chino Hills area is a nightmare. Otherwise, living here is a dream. "

"Almost everyone has a dog in my neighborhood and there is a dog park off the freeway. For the most part, owners to pick up after their pets. The only thing you have to worry about is the coyotes at night time. "

"This is my third year in Chino Hills and I love it. We have all of the conveniences of living in a big city, but it feels like a small town. The rolling hills, and trails add to the charm. I also love the huge amount of shopping and restaurants. The schools are also great!"
