"Dog owners will like that there’s so much grass and sidewalks to walk in. Nearby we have a Petco, Petsmart, and Pet Kingdom, so needs for the pups are accessible."
  • Igoldman12
"There are several close by dog parks, including dog beach. Very dog friendly community. Lots of great walks. Many homes have fenced in back yards. "
  • Alegna123
"It’s fairly quiet and away from the party zones. Dog park and beach close by and neighbors are typically friendly."
  • Karen H.
" I was born and raised here. The Truth is there is 8 E. 5 N. and five S. and Pacific Highway are easily accessible and close just about less than a mile in any direction. But traffic is horrendous. The freeway entrance might be half a mile away but because of traffic it could take you 30 minutes to get to it. With schools the Navy base And normal commute it is very congested. The streets here just get locked."
  • Frenchyunion
"Hidden gem of a neighborhood, great schools, great neighbors. We even have an annual block party at the end of every summer"
  • Merryjean77
"The bus stop is close by as well as trolly, but walking distance to everything grocery store little strip mall and beaches"
  • Mark M.
"good access to public transit and only a few blocks from the 8 freeway, and the midway/sports Arena shopping district"
  • Emrocelle
"The trails by the Famosa Slough are great for walking dogs and getting out in nature. Lots of nature lovers in the neighborhood."
  • Jillsalmon
"Close to everything in San Diego for the most part. The Famosa Slough is a unique area to observe wildlife during the day."
  • Amanda D.
"dog beach, parks and dog friendly eateries. lots of families with dogs walking around and camp run a mutt cage free doggy day care right off the 8 "
  • Andrea n.
