6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDoesn’t treat students equally. Students are told that doing certain things like bringing a throw blanket to school are inappropriate when it’s not effecting other students at all. Some staff talks to students like they’re stupid. Some teachers won’t let students go to the bathroom during class even if it’s an emergency.Student Review2y ago - Collinwood Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is the best thing that has happened to me. I really wouldn't of become who I am if it wasn't for this school. I had to break out of my shell and it really helped with that. The people are nice, I haven't had one bad teacher, and the food is way higher quality than anywhere else I've been (I'm not very picky though). If you are concerned about the test scores (if you even saw them), then this place isn't for you. It's a place where people will farm, it is in the middle of nowhere. It's more about life skills than academic, and that will take you much farther than just a degree.Student Review5y ago - Waynesboro Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWaynesboro Elementary does not focus on teaching children what they need to know. The teachers skip trouble areas and focus only on T-CAP test scores. This does not help any of the children to actually learn anything. Homework is apparently nonexistent for Waynesboro Elementary School. Very rarely are my children sent home with homework. This is among the poorest school system I have encountered, heard of, or bore witness to. I shall be contacting the school board and Tennessee Education Commissioner, Candice McQueen very, very soon. If at all possible, send your child to another school district or teach them yourselves via homeschooling. There is absolutely zero encouragement for growth and enhancement at Waynesboro Elementary School.Parent Review9y ago - Waynesboro Middle School

"My family lives in this area! This is one of the best neighborhoods in Lawrenceburg, TN. The neighbors look out for one another, not in a noisy way but a helpful way. Everyone around this home takes great pride in their home and area around them. This is an excellant place to raise children, it is close to schools, churches and shopping. I would not want to live anywhere else in Lawrenceburg. "

"I live directly on the Hwy. Have found people to be uncaring about stray animals. Everything is very accessible- you can walk all over the area. We LOVE the square-especially when Green streets starts! People are so nice everywhere you go. We now have a nice Movie Theater right in front of Walmart and they are doing things to attract lots of people. Did I mention the people??? The people here are great!"
