The school is actually K-12th grade with a total of about 200 students. The average class size is about 15 students/teacher. K - 6th are separated from the 7th - 12th. There is one teacher per grade. The students have electives like art, music, library, and PE. The students go swimming as part of their PE class time as well as learn many different types of athletic games. The 6th graders can learn to play an instrument in an after school class so they are ready for band in 7th grade if they choose it for an elective. I like the fact that the elementary teachers meet together weekly to go over the concerns they have about the students and how they can improve student achievement. They can also ask each other about how the student did in the past and see if the student is making progress.

"Wells is a good town. There is lots of community events. The City is trying to revitalize down town. Lots of sports for the kids. Lots of long time locals."

"I’ve lived here one year and the people here are either quiet and to themselves or friendly and helpful. Never heard sirens from police force except to help in an accident. Just a few traffic citations. "
