7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Jefferson County schools from 1976-1987 and had a great experience all the way through. As with any school system you have great teachers and a few that are there just to collect a paycheck. My son went through he Jefferson County School system K-12 and ended with honors when graduating.Jefferson County is a great place to raise a family and that's why I've lived here on the same farm we've owned since the year I was born and would not live anywhere else. Jefferson County is one of America's greatest little secrets and I Love Living here and love my community.Parent Review3mo ago - New Market Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in kindergarten there and the principal there is a awesome and caring woman in which she went out of her way to offer help tob my child and our family. My child currently had to live my father for a couple months due to family issues and she offered if my father couldnt take care of her she offered from her kind hearted nature to take care of my baby til my issues were resolved. I will always thank God my baby is in the hands of such caring people. That trait in a person you cant hardly find anymore... Thank you Ms.Cure and Ms Forgety for all that you do and I do work hard with my daughter at home the job isnt all on the teachers we as parents have to continue working together with the teachers to give our children the education they need to fulfill there dreams and goals in life...... Good job New Market Elementary SchoolParent Review9y ago - Rush Strong Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI go to this school and all I can say is do not put your kid in this school they give us way to much homework they don't care about the kids, and the teachers don't even teach the right way they go from the book which I know they have to but they don't even try to help with work they just show a little example and then gives us a work sheet to do and the sheet doesn't even have the same work as the teacher showed us. And the worst part is the grade level your in predics how much we have to have recces I'm in 8th grade meaning I only go out every 2 weeks and if we get out for rain then we don't get to go out the week we come back. Just don't put your kid in this schoolStudent Review2y ago - Check out schools near Blue Springs Rd.
