3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy two kids attend this school, and seriously, i have not idea why parents are so against this school. my kids are above their average for math and reading. i am really happy with the school, the teachers are so willing to work with the parents involving the education of the kids, the problem is not so much with the school but with the parents who do not put an effort for their children to learn. In all of the parent conferences i have been for about 4 straight years now, it is sad how it shows the lack of interest from the parents for their children''s education. my kids are doing great in school, but parents have to understand that it is not only the teachers' job to educate our children, but it also depends on the paents' interest.Parent Review14y ago5 Reviews - Grand Terrace High School

"The worst, takes me 30-40 minutes to drive 3 miles during traffic time. The commuters on the road are very rude and entitled."

"Very dog friendly neighborhood, no one seems to complain but there’s a lot of dogs walking unleashed so it can be stressful for reactive dogs/dog owners"

"Lots of cockroaches, big ones too. It’s an old neighborhood. Streets are dirty. Sidewalks not kept up. But the people are nice, especially when they tap into your internet. Yet still, the good people you meet make it worthwhile. I’m towards Grand Terrace area of Colton. I feel safest here. Just make sure you lock your doors as in any neighborhood "

"One thing I love about this town is the annual firework show we throw for Colton’s birthday. The city needs to focus on improving cleanliness and safety. We do have a great police team in my opinion. "

"Nice school across the street, neighborhood is quiet, near by shopping center and college. I attend valley and the safety to walk from there to home is great even at night. The inland center mall is down the street as well and I work there."

"I see families walking there dogs at night and seem to be comfortable doing so. I have a mixed American Bully/Pit bill that is the best dog I have ever had. He is well behaved and astonishly good with children! He looks mean but quite the opposite. People on the street seem to understand that not all pit bull type doge are vicious."

"We’ve lived in this neighborhood for 5 years and it’s been tough to say we want to stay longer than needed. East side of Colton is not the best compared to growing up on the west side. We stay to ourselves "
