4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is fine if you never have any issues. It has a history of racial discrimination that continues to permeate the current staff. The school staff treat parents with a condescending tone that is on pa with how they talk to students. Although it’s in a “good” school district, beware the issues that exist beneath the surface. The student to staff ratio is high and the resources are lacking. Avoid this school and school district at ALL COST!Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Pickerington Lakeview Junior High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe students at this school are crazy. No one is keen to learn, which is normal to expect, but it's a relatively big problem in this school. On the other hand, I feel bad for the teachers-- I'd quit if I had to teach these students, but they do their best. The social/emotional support at this school is good, or not good. . I've never had a specific opinion on it. The special education aspect is good, too (very supportive, great teachers). On the subject of "violence", I figure fights in any American high school is normal, so I don't really care because it doesn't usually affect me. Although, fights are DEFINITELY normal in this school-- much better than Pickerington Central, though. As for family engagement, the school does try to involve the parents, but the parents, IN MY OBSERVATIONS, do not care. This doesn't speak for everyone. . . All the praise goes to the staff, teachers, administrators, they have the hardest job (especially after COVID-19).Student Review3y ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near Blacklick Eastern Rd.

"I have lived in my neighborhood since 2007. I know most of my immediate neighbors by name. Most of the people on my street are friendly, but some do keep to themselves. I have met many people while out walking and just stopping to introduce myself and talking to folks. I believe a good neighborhood has people who not only take pride in their families, but also take care of their homes and yards. Bottom line our neighborhood is only as good as we make it! Why pay several hundred thousand dollars for a home if you are not going to take care of it. "
