7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKids vape in the restrooms, are able to leave campus without knowledge of any adult, fights on a regular basis. Their current principal is nonexistent, I had an IEP with the assistant principal, who seemed to be unfamiliar with the process. Ms armendariz is one of the worst teachers I've ever had the ability to meet. She'd rather match kids up, act like a teen, never responds to messages about your child's schoolwork, kids have to tell her when an assignment needs to be graded, will not honor IEP. When a child asks for something within their rights, she denies them and then openly discusses the fact the child has one. I have had 2 other kids go through middle school, this is by FAR the worst in the district. I expected WAY better, for schools east of the 805. Find another school, where the teachers are encouraging and willing to work with the parent.Parent Review11mo ago21 Reviews - Olympian High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOver the past four years, I’ve seen a noticeable decline in the environment at Olympian High School. The surrounding area has changed significantly due to rapid housing development, and with it, there’s been a rise in disruptive behavior. On multiple occasions, I’ve observed students loitering near elementary schools during school hours, engaging in activities such as smoking and using inappropriate language, with little concern for supervision. As someone who has lived in various parts of San Diego, I’ve seen the difference a safe, focused school environment can make. Unfortunately, Olympian no longer offers the same sense of security and academic focus it once did.If your priority is a learning environment that emphasizes safety, discipline, and strong academic culture, I would suggest researching other schools before making your decision.Parent Review9mo ago11 Reviews - Wolf Canyon Elementary School

"None, I’ve had my truck broken into within the first couple months of moving in, there is no parking available about 89% of the time and it’s expensive as a yacht. 12/10 would recommend never moving to California. "

"Takes a while to get to the 805; not necessarily because of too much traffic, but because of constant red lights. The 125 is only a second away but it’s a toll road. If I didn’t have to pay for a toll road, the commute would be a lot better. "
