3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHas the Worse education, forces students to wear an ID and they have too pay even though none of the students wants it. Security is bad, racism with some teachers, GIves no homework, you still need too participate in gym in your normal school clothes currently. Students don't usually care, Sports are bad now, we barely win any games.Parent Review4y ago4 Reviews - Ella G Clarke Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMs Foy handles her class very well. I hear many good things about her and most of the others. She’s not your typical teacher, I hate to say, who doesn’t actually care. Her integrity really shows. You can sense her emotional attachment to her job and classroom.Other Review3y ago2 Reviews - Lakewood Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis School is actually 6-8 Grade now. Students enrolled more then 700 I believe. My child has been attending for 2 years now and has no issues , they have after school tutoring if neeed for your child to excel. Also love the online parent portal that gives updated grade info on your child . School does have metal detectors ,security cops as well . Principal is very involved his staff is very proffesional .Teachers heard no complaints as far of teaching goes . I feel my child is Safe and gets excellent grades .Parent Review11y ago1 Reviews - Spruce St Elementary School

"I lived here for four years. The landlord was horrible constantly asking for money and saying I never paid a security deposit even though I had receipts they also took said deposit and never put it in a savings account to accrue interest. They also told me I had to pay water but never settled the previous tenants bill. It was a constant battle always entering my home without permission and accusing me of damage done previously (I took pictures when I moved in) I wouldn’t rent from those people in Portsmouth again if you paid me. Good luck future tenants. "

"People mind their business here. They are working class people here. Great food places nearby and overall a feeling of freedom and safety "

"Many 55+ communities. These will be in the minority soon as every piece of land is being developed with cramped townhomes with basement apartments"

"I live in one of the many 55+ active adult communities. Surrounding us, however is an onslaught of building targeted for young Jewish families - hundreds of them. You walk outside of our community and you’d hardly recognize it. "

"Lots of dog in this 55+ community. Dog walkers are a tremendous asset to all communities.. they provide lots of “eyes” and encourage interaction with neighbors"

"There used to be a predominance of 55+ communities. But now all of the trees are being taken down for townhouses. These house a lot of children"

"Traffic is horrendous. The population and housing has outgrown the town infrastructure by leaps and bounds and it is not being updated or maintained adequately. "

"Just moved in, hoping to enjoy the stay…..love waking up each morning to see the lakes outside our window….the quiet is also a most attractive selling point.the neighbors are most friendly also. "

"This is a 55 and older community so the only children that you will ever see here are only visiting the residents because anyone 19 years of age and under are not allowed to live here but can visit. "

"There’s too many residents living in lakewood and not enough space. The traffic is horrendous because of how many people live here and the streets and sidewalks are smaller. Not a bad located just overpopulated. "

"It’s very easy as the area is accessible to public transportation and taxis are very affordable and reliable. The neighbors are generally pleasant and peaceful. I love the quiet atmosphere of the place and the general transportation service provided. Vehicles are kept in good and clean conditions and most times o time. The rules and guidelines of the community is adhered to by one and all. It is followed and upheld. "
