10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'll fist say that I'm not sure where some of these other reviews are having their experience with teachers --- parents however is quite a different story. Neither myself nor my husband are from this area. The staff and administration (minus our new atrocious principal) have all been wonderful. We really could not have asked for better experiences for either of our very children who are on completely different ends of the learning spectrum. The parents can be cliquey. It is a rural area with deep roots and families that have been living here since before the mid 1800's (to the point where there are streets named after them) but unless you really have a need to insert yourselves into these cliques everyone is polite enough to converse with at school functions, athletics, and play dates without issue. The issues I see other parents having a lot is when they don't have realistic expectations for their child's capabilities or realistic expectations for how teachers should deal with them. Little Johnny and Susie don't deserve praise when they aren't doing a good job, to doubt that they aren't getting extra attention though seems a far reach. My child who frequently under performs as a student is always given the 1:1 time he needs and teachers communicate what work needs to be done at home to improve. Praising another student and recognizing their hard work means your student needs to work harder to receive that praise.. Sorry, guess I was just raised to earn what you feel like you deserve?Parent Review6y ago4 Reviews - Floyd Kellam High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids were new to attend this school last year and I couldn’t be more disappointed. The minimal structure that is there is pathetic, the incompetent office staff and the terrible excuse for counselors that exist there. There is no incentive for a child to do well when a student cannot complete an assignment when it’s due, and still have the opportunity weeks later to complete it before the semester ends and still receive the equal grade as a child who did complete it when it was originally due seems quite unfair to me and just a motive for the teachers to encourage their outward appearance and stat performance as a teacher, as opposed to putting the students interest in education first. I could go on and on, but it’s honestly not worth my time. I have nothing good to say about this school.Parent Review8mo ago13 Reviews - Princess Anne Middle School

"I have my own vehicle. Without a car transportation isn’t that great. The bus stop isn’t that close by an the neighborhoods never built sidewalks along the roads to get to the stops an there’s ditches on both sides"

"My commute varies and traffic really only gets bad during rush hour traveling on 264 or headed to Sandbridge on saturdays because that’s when the tourists all arrive at the same time for check in. Most days everything I need is within a 10 minute drive. That’s why I love this location so much, "
