My grandson went to this school for one year...he had been diagnosed with one of the Autism spectrum disorders...the principal and others placed him in a room (cell), facing toward the inner wall, to just sit there by himself for the majority of the day...acted as if he was some sort of animal, out of sight, out of mind...we would never recommend this school for its backward thinking and lack of knowledge in the instruction of children with such disorders...keep your child safe and home school him/her if you live in Fallon, and have a disabled child.

I thought this school was pretty amazing. Until my son was having issues being left by the bus. The after school program notified me but the school didn’t. When i spoke to my son, he only told me about one time when he moved from his spot. So i went to the school so i can understand how the system works so i can help him. But i was met with nothing but attitude from the front desk lady, i didn’t even have to say his name for her to know who i was talking about. If you’re that aware that my son isn’t in the right spot and is continuously left by the bus, why wasn’t i notified so i can rectify the situation. Thankfully the principal took over and was very friendly. She told me she would personally make sure he doesn’t move. She showed me where they sit and what they should be doing. We’ve never lived here before, he never got on a bus here and doesn’t know how to read. Asking for clarification shouldn’t be met with disrespect and attitude especially not the first person someone interacts with when they walk into the school.
