My wife and I are both graduates from this school. To now see our daughter go here brings us great joy. To see some of our old teachers still there feels somewhat surreal. The best part is not just seeing our daughter compete in sports, but also to see have opportunities that we never had while attending there. Like, the CTE program that she is in for Pathway to Engineering that she was accepted in after not being selected for North Point, the extended day courses, and dual college enrollment to name a few. As a former Charles County school employee, I would definitely recommend McDonough as a school to go to.

I’m currently a student at Milton right now. I love all my teachers because they respect their students and help them fix their mistakes. Some of the students don’t get punished often they disrupt the class and call out rude things some of the teachers don’t punish them for it, I mean they could at least give them a strike. There was a student threatening to shoot the school once and there are lots of fights there though the teachers do their best to break them apart and give an alternative route. Overall my experience was great even though there were a few things I disagreed with but it’s a amazing school in my opinion. I’d give it a 4 1/2 but since I can’t It gets an even better score, a five star.

I have been a parent at this school since it opened in 2019. In my opinion, the rating does not accurately reflect the quality of learning at this school, rather the impact of COVID on the ability of a new school to rebound after a global pandemic. My children have excelled at this school and with the older of the two going on to take accelerated classes in middle school. The teachers at this school are some of the most supportive, engaging, and communicative teachers I have ever met as a parent. I would highly recommend this school to anyone moving to this school district.
