NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLeadership in this school is severely lacking. The current principle struggles to maintain a thinly-veiled disdain for every parent she interacts with. When you speak with her, you get the sense that she's more concerned with self-preservation and her own self-importance rather than the topic of your child's education and well-being. It is unfortunate that faculty are having to work for such a disconnected leader. Our students, teachers, and families deserve better. Be better.Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Wright Denny Intermediate School

"A lot of families in the area home life matters the most so how you raise your children is the biggest influence. Everywhere you go you have a good and bad influence. I do wish we had better education in West Virginia. I wish the kids were more involved in wanting to learn, but there is plenty of parks. Friendly people compare to city area. Gradually finding more activities to be involved as a family may have to travel half hour to an hour for shopping, but it’s not impossible. I like the area I live here my whole life."

"There are alot of dog owners and dog friendly people in our neighborhood, and if your dog gets out for whatever reason, everyone will help get it back. People pick up their dogs waste and do well with keeping the neighborhood clean. "

"This is a very dog friendly neighborhood. People walk the dogs all the time. However, sometimes they don’t pick up after their dogs in common areas or seldom there is a pile in my yard."

"Large lots and low traffic on the roads. Large, dog friendly park five minutes away. Mountain trails and C&O canal provide other safe pretty places to take a walk. "

"Becoming more of a DC commuting area but still has a good rural feel to the people and area. If you want strict zoning and harsh HOAs stay in the city. Your neighbors here mind there own business and want you to mind yours. However they are kind, will help out in a second and are open minded. "

"I have lived in this neighborhood for 21 years, and it is unique in that for the state of WV it is an upscale neighborhood. In fact the whole Eastern Panhandle is upscale compared to the rest of the state. "

"Everyone pretty much stays to themselves, very quiet even though it’s tons of kids. Not much to do in the area, schools are just okay. Main thing going for the area is cost of living is affordable. "
