6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIts funny, when reading reviews for anything you can tell who the winers are. I had two children go through WISD and my children couldnt have had two more completely different paths, but both would have said WISD was a great school. My son played all the sports, was on the honors society, middle of the road grades and my daughter fell into the theater crowd and was an average grades kid. The funny thing is my daughter thought she found her people in the theater kids.... only to find out mean kids are in every group. So yes, bullying is everywhere, and the school does what it can but you cant control everyone. If anyone complains about the school not helping I call Bull on that. Ive had issues and they took care of the situation. Wisd was an overall great school for both of my kids.Parent Review4y ago11 Reviews - Blue Hole Primary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDanforth has an amazing community. Almost all of the teachers are amazing, kind, and compassionate. They make learning fun. I’m currently a 7th grader here, and I haven’t dealt with bullying once. I’ve been called a name here and there, but nothing serious. The leadership at this school is amazing. Every few months, they’ll pull students into the cafeteria to just have discussions. The school does give out homework, but it isn’t an overwhelming amount. Most teachers let us finish it in class. I don’t really know much about how the school handles children with learning differences, so I cannot comment on that. I do, however, have a few complaints. I don’t think that the school offers enough ‘artistic’ classes outside of Band and Choir. Students are only permitted to take Art once, and they are not allowed to take Theatre until 8th grade. As a student who is very passionate about the arts, this is very disappointing.Student Review5y ago2 Reviews - Check out schools near Rancho Madrone Rd.

"Too many students and drinking. Weekends can be noisy. Neighbors are reliable and helpful. A good city for fun activities. "

"There are not many dog friendly areas. There is a dog park but it is usually vacant. Dog park does have a big area for your dog to play in though. "

"The neighborhood is on the outskirts of town so there’s no public transportation. Ride shares are available if needed. Elementary and high school are in walking distance and a dollar general is close also if needed. "

"Dog owners often do not leash their dogs. Lots of college students have dogs run out of their house into the street. Too many dog owners do not pick up after their dog and will leave poop on your yard. Dog park is 5 minutes away: nighttime is the busiest time. "

"I have lived here for over a year and I truly believe it’s one of the best places I’ve ever lived. You can walk into a forest from your house. If I were buying a house here I would feel completely satisfied. The people are very respectful and yet friendly, but not too much. It’s very quiet yet there are plenty of children here. "

"This is a quiet and quaint little pocket with a great mix of city and country! I bought my first home here and my kids can walk to school since we are so close. Halloween is packed with all kinds of people and it’s so much fun. The park in the neighborhood is always clean and maintained. I love it here!"
