5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLike WHS this school has a strong bias between local townie kids and outsiders, be it those who moved in or country kids. This bias leads to relentless bullying that was present in my generation and my daughter’s one. Kids are either powerful and popular townsfolk kids (and become the jocks or cheerleaders) or they are treated like the nerds in popular 1980’s movies by the same name. The townie kids “can do no wrong” and never get in trouble no matter how much physical damage they do to a kid they are abusing, but that kid hits back and they are immediately suspended. The administration, teachers, and staff are are locals and do things the way it always was done. Drugs are not as big of an issue at this school as the high school but they are definitely present and used on campus. Likewise sexual harassment is less so than the high school (which has serious problems) but still is present and entirely tolerated by staff so long as it doesn’t happen to popular girls.Parent Review4y ago4 Reviews - Washington High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been at West going on 2 years now and they have done an amazing job with my son. He has done so well and has come so far in the 2 years he has been there. I feel blessed to have the teachers, principal and the vice principal. I appreciate each one of them. I have told them many times. West does have an wonderful program for children with special needs. I rate this school a 10.Parent Review5y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 8 Running Creek Ct #8A.

"There is not much traffic. Most people have their own vehicles because public transportation is very limited."

"Great neighborhood and community as well Washington west is only a mile away there is a Phillip 66 gas station a 1/4 mile from where I’m staying. The Washington pool and parks are only walking distance from where I am and if you love bar scene there are 5 of them on front street which you can either walk or drive to which when the weather is right I would suggest walking to them, you also have the river front trail along the Missouri River "
