8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a 2022 graduate from Stuart-Hobson Middle School. And I would just like to say that this school is a excellent school if your want your child to do great things. I wouldn’t listen to the great school rating because in the class of 2022. They had a bunch of child’s going to Benjamin Banneker which is the best school in DC ,School Without Walls second best school in DC, and McKinley Technology High School third best school in DC. Me being one of the students who attend McKinley Technology. All of the Teachers care about the students well being and there education. I had a teacher who I felt like I could always talk to. No one who attends Stuart-Hobson will feel alone you will always have a friend or two.Parent Review3y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 331 N St NE #4971119.

"I see people walking their dog most buildings around here are dog friendly as a dog owner just pick your dog poop up"

"I’ve lived here for 2 years and plan to stay. It’s diverse, safe (except packages), and everything is in walking distance. "

"Too much traffic coming in and out of eckington, too many side and back streets and hoods mixed in with private owned apartments, people of interest stealing cars and feces from dogs everywhere "

"Many outsiders, meaning tourist, that makes this place less safe. Many hotels and place that people will use but not maintain because they are not from here."

"Very nice, large apartment buildings for a reasonable price. The area is slowly growing with more restaurants and entertainment options in addition to nearby Union Market. The main downside is a large homeless community encampment on sidewalks under multiple bridges in the neighborhood. "

"Every third person has a dog. Dog parks and amenities in all the buildings. There's even a dog salon in the works."

"I live in an apartment building that plans events. I can’t speak for the homes in the neighborhoods. But seems nice enough since there’s a big school. There’s also plenty of bug buildings being built around and Eckington Yards will have a grocery store and retail spaces. Not necessarily community events but builds a possibility, I imagine for late 2020/2021"

"Convenient location. The neighborhood is loud with sirens especially at night. If you rent from a big box apartment complex, the city of DC does not give you a parking permit for your car. You will be required to pay for parking at your apartment building ($180 a month). "

"Easy commute to the metro. It’s not always safe especially at night. Lots of sirens. NoMa area needs more police presence. The bike lanes aren’t safe either. I was struck by a car that fled the seen. The area businesses and apartments do not record with cameras. "

"Gaps in redevelopment contribute to pockets of high area vehicle crime and harassment by those seeking handouts, often when alone or very late. Ladies please walk together. Overall, the neighborhood is clean and inviting."
