8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is absolutely the worst school I have ever been at. I moved from the bay area a few months ago so maybe that's why I feel like this school is not up to my standards, but I really think the school should step their standards on behavior with the students. The students are not behaved at all, very rude language, made me very uncomfortable and made me feel very unsafe at the school. When I mean unsafe, I mean that I was getting things and furniture thrown at me, and the school won't really do anything if we report it. Our class got in trouble almost every single day due to behaviors. I would also like to say that almost no students want to learn as everyone seems very uninterested to learn. This school has ok teachers, they do provide support for learning, but for the few months I was here in 8th grade, its the worst time of my academic journey so far. Defiantly try your best to avoid this school.Student Review1mo ago5 Reviews - Mountain House High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent, I was hopeful that Mountain House High School would provide my child with a supportive and engaging learning environment, but our experience fell short of those expectations. While there are dedicated teachers who genuinely care about their students, we often felt that communication could have been stronger and that academic and emotional support were inconsistent. My child did not always feel motivated or excited about learning, and concerns we raised were not addressed as effectively as we had hoped. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this school to other families.I believe the school has opportunities to improve by placing a greater emphasis on student safety, mental health resources, and individualized support, particularly for students who need additional accommodations. Building stronger relationships with students and responding more proactively to parent concerns would also go a long way toward creating a more positive school environment. Although the school makes an effort to involve families, there is still considerable room for improvement in ensuring every student feels supported, safe, and prepared to succeed.Parent Review2w ago19 Reviews - Check out schools near 23577 Mountain House Pkwy.

"Commuting in town is a mix. There’s been quite a bit of road construction which has impacted getting across town. When there’s no construction, commuting is okay. "

"Amazing schools and tons of parks. It’s a very safe town. It’s grown but still feels like a small community. There are a lot of activities for kids. The town is growing and has many restaurants and grocery store options with more to come."

"I used to work in Tracy and did a reverse commute to Tracy from San Ramon. I've seen a lot of growth since then. Neighboring Mountain House was just being developed. Now, Tracy is booming and real estate values have gotten out of hand even for Tracy. The Tracy Hills development is crazy expensive and there is currently no infrastructure there. If you can afford to live in Tracy, the Redbridge area of homes is best. Reminds me of a bygone era of tree lined streets and and beautiful homes with some being semi-custom. There is not a lot to do here, the mall is small and the only restaurant that is worth going to is Texas Road House. Most residents would likely travel to Livermore's downtown less than 20 mile west to enjoy great food and wineries. All in all, this is a "bedroom community" with a lot of commuters heading out as far as San Jose to work yet wanting to afford a home and build some roots."

"Mountain House is good for very young children, but school age children find it boring as there is no downtown area or attractions, not even a grocery store or gas station. The weather is also very hot sunny and windy, so being outside can often be unpleasant for about half the year except for dawn and dusk in the summer. "

"Music festivals bring in local musicians and musicians from the area. The music is very good and they set out chairs for you and there are a variety of food sold from trucks and beverages. Also the local restaurants are open and cater to the crowd. Farmers markets are nice to go to to support local farmers. There are many other events including Tracy Lions groups breakfast fundraisers. They have ball draws and events at the Elks Lodge. Check the Tracy Press online for more."

"We don’t have community events here other than garage sales or neighborhood forum on social media. Where the people of Tracy reports things that are happening in our area. Sometimes it’s positive other times it can be quite alarming, but despite all of that I still love it here. Within 5-10 minutes we have multiple banks, DMV, Mall, Movie theater, car dealership, Costco, target, homegoods, Marshall’s, Home Depot, target, Walmart. Etc"
