Fully furnished bright, roomy open concept cottage on a one-way street right in downtown Sylva, NC! Rent includes heat, electric, internet, water, sewer and off street parking for one vehicle (see details below). Also includes a smart TV that can stream services you subscribe to. Privacy, quiet set back from street. Second floor balcony off bedroom. Terra cotta tile floors on first floor and new carpeting on stairs and upstairs. New windows on first floor. Heating and cooling provided by mini-splits on each floor. Building dates from 1914 and has thick walls to cancel any downtown noises. Easy, flat access from parking area into cottage. Lovely view of the historic Courthouse. Quick walk to parks, library, and all that downtown Sylva has to offer: restaurants, shopping, breweries, spa, fly fishing guides, wine bar, churches, Farmers' Market, book stores, etc. Close to white water rafting, hiking, Blue Ridge Parkway, National Forests, Cherokee Casino complex.

Maximum occupancy is 2 people. Tenant area includes entire cottage, balcony and porch under balcony. Right side of gravel driveway for one vehicle. Other vehicles use free nearby street parking.

Electronic keypad activated deadbolt for entry and exit. Tenants will receive their own code. Some storage on second floor in the eaves.

Month to month rental of fully furnished cottage, except for bed and bath linens. All-inclusive rent covers Electric, Water, Sewer, Internet, trash pick up and any outdoor maintenance. No Pets allowed in the cottage. No undergraduate students. Maximum of 2 occupants. No tobacco products. Off-street parking for one vehicle only. Public street parking nearby. Landlords live on property in separate dwelling, so quiet and respectful tenancy is required. This is a month to month arrangement, but may be extended indefinitely as needed.
