"Alaska State Fair is about 3 miles down the road, there is a Friday Fling every Friday in the summer, that's less than 2 miles away. There's also farmers market at same location with local veggies. "

"I chose to settle down and retire here with my family. It is very quiet and peaceful. People are out and about quite often. But do tend to keep to themselves for the most part. Very little crime or dangerous situations. Great schools and a strong since of community and small town pride. "
