Winslow Beacon Retreat is a tastefully decorated second-floor Condo in the 6th most desired place to live in the U.S. (according to Redfin). This is my winter home and it is nicely appointed with everything you need. The Meadows is a 1700-acre beautifully landscaped community that has 14 miles of walking and biking trails, lakes, and ponds, golf courses, pickleball, and a Jr. Olympic pool next to a restaurant/lounge with outside dining (some activities require a summer country club membership fee). The Meadows is conveniently located near the upscale shopping district of University Town Center, Whole Foods is 2 miles away and downtown Sarasota and Lido Key beaches (St. Armands Circle) are a quick 15 - 20-minute drive.
Winslow Beacon Retreat is a secluded and quiet condo with lots of natural vegetation, nice views, and tropical trees. Ideally, I would like a tenant through the end of November or December 2023. The condo is on the second floor. There are only 6 units in the building and only 60 units in the complex. The condo is located at the very end of a street that offers a quiet and serene environment. The front of the Condo faces SW and borders City property that is undeveloped. The screened-in Lanai faces Northeast and the tall mature trees offer plenty of shade and beauty. This unit is fully furnished with everything you need - just bring your clothes and settle in. 1 King size bed, 1 queen bed, and 2 full baths (one walk-in shower and one tub and shower). The condo is beautifully appointed with comfortable furniture, a 62-inch smart TV in the living room a 52" smart TV in the master bedroom, tile flooring, and a walk-in closet. and several lakes and ponds. Beautiful landscaping is present throughout the entire community with mature trees and shrubs. There are several different options for partaking in the community amenities that would require membership fees. However, the pool at the association is open to all the residences of Winslow Beacon.

    "Variety of home styles brings in variety of residents, permanent and seasonal. Rules are strict and neighborhood monitors report the smallest of violations, such as leaving your garbage bins out late if you have a long day or putting them out too early,not pruning dried palm fronds immediately, and not planting garden areas to match neighbors. If you are not here full time or are away on vacation you must hire someone to be sure you don’t violate any of the very picky rules. Residents have little use of the club, tennis, pickleball or golf courses without paying exorbitant fees. Having said that, as an elderly woman living alone I feel safe in this development. The safety patrol is responsive and will come 24-7 if you have a concern. Not much of a neighborhood feel."

    "We retired to the Meadows in 2009 and absolutely love it! Great place to golf, play tennis, ride bikes, walk, dine and socialize. Meticulous attention to facilities maintenance and landscaping. Like living in a country club, which is what it actually is, except that membership is optional. Very nice! "
