I have been informed by multiple other teachers of my niece that other students have had problems and had been picked on by this individual. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers at this school have ZERO communication!! It’s like they’re scared or they just don’t want to talk to parents they constantly ignore parents and won’t talk to us. I haven’t talked to any of my child’s teachers in months. I’m the one reaching out to them and most of the time I’m ignored or there extremely short answered like I’m annoying them. They never reach out to me. When the academic dean reaches out to me about grades it’s like how would I know what’s going on the teachers don’t talk to me. If 6th grade is this bad I’m not sure if I want my kid here for the next couple of years. The rave reviews of this being a great school doesn’t seem so true when you actually see what happens behind closed doors. Just another typical nisd school with a lot of issues.Parent Review5mo ago15 Reviews - Dr. Sara B. McAndrew Elementary School

"I have resided in San Antonio ZIP Code 78210 for two years and I can’t say unequivocally that the neighborhood is improving. I feel very safe in my neighborhood. The neighborhood is lacking grocery stores, restaurants, bars, or any kind of social evening nightlife really. The streets are relatively well kept in the sidewalks are as well. I feel very safe, but it’s nott necessarily a neighborhood where I would go out walking after 9 PM. Neighbors are friendly if you are proactive in speaking with them. It is about the least outgoing, bunch of neighbors I’ve ever had in terms of reaching out."

"We have a 4th of July neighborhood parade. People in the neighborhood bring out their chairs and sit on the lawn to watch their friends/neighbors parade down the street dressed for the occasion in red, white and blue. Dogs are included."

"High traffic. Low crime. Stable ownership. Is just now being gentrified. Thank God. Until that transition is complete, it will be a wasteland of shabby house with zero landscaping. "
