4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf there was less than Zero for a score that would be my choice for this horrible school. It's administrative staff has a more incline to lgbtq and bullies. Special education is at the bottom of the totem pole it seems that bullying that assist with the students whether in class or in a unit is not important. If these children are being victims of bullies whether in passing. cafeteria, PE or in the classroom, they don't get addressed as same bullying continues. The staff that assists the students are stretched out meaning if a staff member has to leave the specialized unit for any reason, a substitute who is not capable of doing anything or trained if something happens in the unit and doesn't care or looks the other way. The victim either for acting out verbally or defending one self will get punished. The bully continues in the school and the victim is cornered to either act out, defend one self or give in and take on peer students. This is hopeless which I think the state should get involved and fire all staff and bring in majority male African American administration to make drastic changes on staff and repercussions on what bullys do and apply due punishment.Teacher Review2y ago10 Reviews - Marshall High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy first experience was with the nurse. Her bedside manner was trash. Only to hear from other staff, many people have the same experience. My second experience was with the assist principle of the magnet program. Whom is also the 504 coordinator. In the years I've dealt with my childs 504 plan, my experience with him, genuinely made me feel like he cared less about my daughter medical conditions and her needs. So now I am preparing to have a discussion with my child about removing herself from the program because the nursing program (magnet school) she's in, doesn't care to accommodate her medical (of allllllll the things) situation. I learned today that the 504 is not in place to assist my daughter in avoiding a seizure, they only care if she has a seizure because, THEN it affects them.Parent Review8mo ago6 Reviews - Braun Station Elementary School

"We moved here specifically for the community, schools, and the perfect central locations to downtown and the airport. We enjoy the community events, the street parties, and the community organization. There are so many people walking their dogs daily, it’s just a feeling of a true community. "

"I have resided in San Antonio ZIP Code 78210 for two years and I can’t say unequivocally that the neighborhood is improving. I feel very safe in my neighborhood. The neighborhood is lacking grocery stores, restaurants, bars, or any kind of social evening nightlife really. The streets are relatively well kept in the sidewalks are as well. I feel very safe, but it’s nott necessarily a neighborhood where I would go out walking after 9 PM. Neighbors are friendly if you are proactive in speaking with them. It is about the least outgoing, bunch of neighbors I’ve ever had in terms of reaching out."

"We have a 4th of July neighborhood parade. People in the neighborhood bring out their chairs and sit on the lawn to watch their friends/neighbors parade down the street dressed for the occasion in red, white and blue. Dogs are included."
