Description

This charming spot is a studio in a duplex set at the back of a residential lot. You are just half a mile from downtown Ojai and trailheads into the Los Padres. It has lots of light and air from windows all around. I love that it has shade and sunlight. There is a peekaboo mountain view from your lower yard and a waterfall can be seen when it rains. It feels spacious with 12 foot ceilings and exposed beams and is under the oaks with great insulation for year round comfort. It has a claw foot bathtub with shower in the main room set apart by shelving. You have your own private outdoor washer and dryer. There is a covered porch with storage cabinets and a bin for extra bulky things. It can be furnished and kitchen ready if desired. The wood and iron island and shelves that frame the kitchen can stay if desired along with a matching automatic standing desk, a comfy queen bed with bedding, a beige cushioned head board, small beige sofa, chair and coffee table that can be added. The floor is stained cement. As you enter the property there is an open shared space with full sun if you want to add a garden. The drapes, the outdoor furniture and outdoor plants can be rearranged of vourse but best for them to stay. Your bikes and boards are welcome. It is a safe and cozy bit of privacy half a mile from the heart of Ojai - the hills! I prefer an 8 m onth lease to renew in the spring.

All utilities and high speed internet included. No smoking. Tenant responsible for upkeep of the yard. One operating vehicle only. Rental insurance required. Furniture can be provided for an additional $100 a month.
