9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe cluster system at Barrington Middle is designed to enable the students to learn and apply knowledge with success. One example is that there are no Study Hall periods, and instead there are F.A.S.T (Flexible Academic Study Time) periods, where students can delve deeper into a subject area and probe the concept more specifically. Additionally the school has a Ramp-up period, where students receive extra help in a subject in which they may be having trouble. The cluster teachers send home a monthly calendar, on the first of the month, which lists all projects, quizzes, tests and their respective dates. It is a highly efficient system. The students at this school are quite possibly the most well-adjusted I have ever encountered. Due to our frequent moves, we have now experienced 5 different school districts, and Barrington is the best in terms of emotional health and academic well-being.Parent Review10y ago1 Reviews - Hampden Meadows School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrimrose Hill School has a student body and community that could potentially foster a truly excellent education. The quality of the test schools when you look at this school by the numbers should mostly be attributed to the largely affluent demographic who can afford to supplement the sub-par education offered by this school. A lack of leadership, low teacher expectations and accountability, weak district oversight, and lack of consideration for the student as a whole child make this school a place we are very glad to leave. If you are considering buying in this school zone be prepared for an average education if your child is high performing, and to be constantly annoyed by the lack of professional clear communications from the school leadership. I give Primrose Hill school 2 stars instead of 1 only because of my positive experience with other families at this school and a couple of teachers/staff members.Parent Review6y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 2 Cherrywood Dr.

"Near center of town and Barrington Harbor. Great '50s-style neighborhood for raising kids. Easy commute to Providence or beyond via car [current owner commutes to Hopkinton, MA] or walk to RIPTA bus stop [#60 line, frequently running between Providence and Newport]. Very stable neighborhood: Immediate neighbors have not changed in 18 years. Near East Bay Bike Path. Great area for walking/running on nearby Mathewson Rd., which runs along the harbor."

"This house is right near the beach and a few houses from the house featured on THIS OLD HOUSE 2011. Excellent neighborhood. Charming area. Quiet neighborhood. Storybook home. Mint condition. This house has been updated to 6 rooms. There are 2 beds, plus a den (or dining room), also a brightly sunlit office, a huge, lovely kitchen, fireplace in living room. Mahogany details throughout. Attic storage. Town known for one of the best school systems. Perfect town for retirees and/ or family oriented folk. Next door to lovely mansion."
