9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this high school from grade 9 to grade 12. The teachers here are very friendly and the counselors are very concerned about each student's grades. Mr. Chin, this teacher is very friendly to students.Other Review3y ago6 Reviews - Monterey Highlands Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMost kids at my school don't get really excited but they are just kids who want to go home like all kids do. There are still a lot of kids excited about what they are going to learn. The teachers at this school try to make learning more exciting for kids like the 5th, 4th, 7th, 8th, Kinder, and 1st. Often times they do make school more exciting for kids. The school also help out kids when they are rough spots they also treat kids with disabilities equal to the ones without them and all the clubs let everyone join in. With safety though well a few physical fights have happen before but other than that they are a very safe school and if something bad happens in the class or the staff sees it they have it stop. The school also has several meetings during the school year with the parents and they notify family parents about special events and stuff that is happening in school if they need to know. They also let parents volunteer to go on field trips and go inside the school. Overall i really likke this school and I think they are doing an amazing job.Student Review10mo ago18 Reviews - Check out schools near 1535 Sombrero Dr #52.

"My family has lived in Monterey Park for over 59 years and it’s one of the best cities to live in. A very multicultural neighborhood with Annual events where for the last 50 years has had PlayDay’s Carnival every 2nd Saturday of every year one that my grandchildren now attend. There’s the Chinese New Year celebrations with parades with a very cool feel to the city. There are so many places to eat at and so many different styles of cooking. Monterey Park is a city where our neighbors are family or familiar with one another! ✨"

"Peaceful and respectful neighbors. Easy access to shopping by foot or automobile. On weekends, some gatherings are a bit noisy well into the evening, but closing windows takes care of it. Mostly condos between Graves and Garvey east of Garfield. About 5-8 minutes to either 10 or 60 fwy. From there its typical Los Angeles traffic. "
