7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was in the school for 2 years and he suffered a lot of mental abuse as well as verbal he ended up losing about 10 lb and now I decided to transfer him from the school this school still calls me and tells me that they keep logging in my child as if he was absent even though it's been a year since he has not attended the school this is all because of the scholarship I strongly believe this school should be defunded or should be run by different people people who CareParent Review5y ago3 Reviews - Brownsville Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLike I have seen a lot of problems with the SPED Department they have these few about of kids treating others unfairly and threatening to hurt others and it’s not fair how they are not getting in trouble or anything to do with this or cancel the programs like role models it’s not that fair neither is the security they don’t do anything and neither the students are not good school shouldn’t exist. government pulls kids out of homes to learn I mean it takes away our fun time and it’s not that good to do that it just makes them dumber if they were bored usually that’s why the government is bad barely funds on schools for kids futures plus they need to improve more classes like art it takes forever to add it they have empty classes that are barely used it would be more better to add art classes that teach you how to draw good I wish this would be more better if Brownsville was not a school it would be a problem with the constant threatsOther Review2y ago3 Reviews - Miami Northwestern Senior High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school fails every single child that enters its premises. Even if your child does well while attending mnw, they would’ve done tremendously better at another school. Only a handful of teachers can do their jobs well, the others are simply incompetent. Violence is normal within the facility and students have become desensitized, even encouraging towards acts of hostility. They preach respect but have no respectable attributes. Please send your child elsewhere.Parent Review1mo ago22 Reviews - Check out schools near 2042 NW 55th Ter.

"Terrible neighborhood for dogs. I’ve seen people throw rocks at dogs that bark and never pick up after their own dogs"

"This neighborhood is absolutely horrific. My vehicle has been broken into twice in the past six months. Wife’s car was vandalized. Neighbors are rude and dump trash in the streets. Drugs are rampant. Cops are called multiple times in a week. Will be moving soon. Would not recommend living in this area at all. Please stay away. "

"People walk their dogs around the neighborhood. Some areas that smell like urine and feces. And there are chickens and roosters running around."

"There are many blocks and streets to walk around with a dog. Sometimes other dog owners walk their dogs around here. There can sometimes be people walking around or outside their houses which could be a downside to walking with a dog. Personally."

"There are many thieves and drug dealers. Just walking around at all times. It is not safe for a child to be alone outside or an adult. My truck has been broken into 3 times in less than 2 months."
