7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot say enough great things about Biscayne Beach Elementary and its staff, teachers, and administration. Ms. Belusic the principal goes above and beyond to be present, available, and to create a positive and enriching school environment. My daughter has special needs and has attended Biscayne Beach Elementary since she was in pre-k. She was there for 6 years. She had the most incredible loving teachers. She learned so much. She was supported and nurtured and taught at her level while also being pushed. The school offers wonderful academics and field trip experiences. Everyone is kind. The assistant principal, Dr. Morris, was exceptional, and responsive and so helpful to us in answering all questions and guiding us through all processes and transitions and IEP meetings. The teachers give their heart and souls. Ms. Cruz, Mr. Ortega, Ms. Codner, Mr. Oviedo - these teachers are top notch educators and kind people. My daughters experience was so positive and we are so grateful. The school is safe with one entrance, and the security guard - Fritz - is a kind hearted man with a huge smile on his face. The police office - G - was always there keeping us secure with a positive attitude and always happy to see my daughter. The maintenance team keeps the school beautiful, and the office staff is kind and friendly. Thank you Biscayne Beach. Thank you administration. Thank you for helping my child learn to love to learn and to value education and for keeping her safe and engaged. This school is A plus!Parent Review8mo ago17 Reviews - Nautilus Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely horrible school. My son went for 2 years (6-7th) and he tells me that he was verbally abused almost every other day. Would NOT recommend. The academics are subpar at best.Parent Review8mo ago42 Reviews - Miami Beach Senior High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just graduated from this school two days ago and I have to say it’s absolutely horrendous. This school does a really great job of clipping students wings and not allowing them to express themselves. The administration is too caught up in how much funding they get then paying attention to a student’s mental health, it’s honestly disappointing. The one highlight of this school is the amazing teachers, but other than that the place is a dump. Disgusting bathrooms, deteriorated interior, and just overall terrible people running it. The one thing that pushed me over the edge was the activities director. The day of graduation I arrived with a custom stole made by my sister with various clubs and my college I was going to. I walked in and the activities director snatched it off my shoulders and said “this comes with me”. When I asked for it back to just give to my parents she said no. I got no explanation as to why it was snatched and it baffles me because no where in the handbook was it stated a student can’t wear a stole. I arrived two days later where I was told it would be along with my diploma and instead I was told “it’s at my house”. Why is my stole in your house? And more importantly why is the inconvenience to me when you’re the person who didn’t put it in the handbook? It’s honestly just so frustrating because these people treat you like children even after you are an adult and graduated from their school. I would recommend any other school but this place, again it is a horrible place to send a student that wants to be expressive or even just themselves. I will not miss it.Other Review2y ago9 Reviews - Check out schools near 1881 NE 79th St #2005.

"There are some neighbors that walk their dogs loose, and they're pretty big dogs. I personally know of a puppy that was attacked by a dog that was taking an evening walk by himself. "

"I drive usually, traffic can get pretty bad. I ride my long board to work, it’s just down the street and that is great. The sidewalks often end but there are bike lanes so that’s helpful! "

"If your looking for an oceanfront property, the opportunity to purchase for a lower price per square foot than the surrounding beaches is here. A plus is the surrounding neighborhood, an organic Publix, banks, many restaurants and public transportation are walking distance as well as a community park. The area is going through a progressive transformation."
