3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst school my child has ever attended, and I think it is the worst in general. They do not care about students at all. They said they would do the best to support my child but then ignored all the needs. Just wasted time to make the meetings but did not do anything to support student need. I did not see any improvement from my child. It seems like they did not teach any thing at school. The people at the main office did not answer when I emailed to ask. Overall, I would rate it minus point if it is possilbe. Avoid this school as you can!Parent Review6mo ago14 Reviews - University Senior High School Charter

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is disproportionately minority students and caters to kids who are not white and straight. I constantly get messages about equity and inclusion and how I should support it but nothing ever about how to protect all student from the weekly fights that take place between non-white students. The Spanish teacher (chair of the Spanish Dept.) has an LGBTQ flag in her classroom that she took down for back to school night when parents were going to be at the school. The next day, she put it back up. Strange. Seems she’s hiding something. Patents are not made to feel welcome and are questioned at the entrance upon showing ID. I’m surprised they’re not frisked, which is what should be done with most of the students. They also got rid of school security for the 2022-23 school year and fights broke out weekly, if not more, between non-white students. Our child won’t be returning.Parent Review2y ago29 Reviews - Daniel Webster Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible school and structure, the teachers does not teach, the staff does not provide emotional support and safety every day there is a fight. staff only concerned with making money off the parents every week they are selling snacks and expect 6th and 7th grade to find 8th grade activities it’s ridiculous. on the first orientation meeting the signs were there webster wasn’t a great school the principal ms bell walks around like she’s confident she is handling the school but she’s not she then presented a power point that never worked, said goodbye as if she was leaving the auditorium then proceeded to stay. she looks nervous and unsure about her job. the teachers aren’t teaching!!! they wanted the parents to pay for p e clothes but the kids never changed clothes and participated in pe they claim they didn’t have enough staff to execute this. my child came home every day with a new story: kids vaping, kids being sexually inappropriate, and how kids brings weapons to webster. even was advised someone was stabbed last year. during orientation i asked why the school has no cameras i didn’t receive an answer. eventually i pulled my child out after all these instancesParent Review1mo ago21 Reviews - Check out schools near 11764-11764 Idaho Ave.

"Commute is fair depend on when you’re driving. Rush hours can be a little chaotic but nothing different than anything else in LA. Other than that, Sawtelle’s central location makes a commute to anywhere tolerable. "

"Unlike nearby areas, Sawtelle, especially South of Santa Monica, is less densely built and populated, and has a nice neighborly feel. I know many neighbors by walking my dogs here... the only thing I wish is that the area was closed to through traffic, because the 405 freeway underpasses at Santa Monica and Olympic create a giant funnel where everyone drives like mad trying to shortcut through our neighborhood. The new Expo line has done nothing to cut that traffic. "

"That it is a great neighborhood. The schools are great It is near UCLA and Santa Monica college It is near the 405 freeway and the 10 freeway The rent is high but worth it There are shops and the VA hospital. There might be the homeless loitering around in the neighborhood and that is why the rent is high Cops are visible It is not far from the beach."
