Laguna hills high school is NOT worth going to. The office aids and the school officers don’t do anything to stop bullying. The aids always choose favorites and pick the bullies. A fight occurred and the parents went to go talk to the office but the office still didn’t do anything. The parents are sueing the school about that as well. This school is useless and most students get sent to another school with no sports aka a bad school. Most students get held back and don’t graduate. They keep the bullies but give strikes to the innocent people that were defending themselves from the bullies. I don’t understand how badly this school can fail the system. What a horrible school to go to. Do not recommend!

My son missed some english classes, but when he turned in the work a few days later, he was told it wasn't accepted for credit. He didn't understand what counted for credit which made it confusing.He also didn't feel comfortable getting help in that class when he needed it, and he didn't want to talk to the principal because he didn't want it to affect him more in class.We talked with other staff and teachers. They were understanding, but there wasn't a clear way to fix it, and things didn't really get better. Other families said they had similar experiences in english class the past few years .

This school fails in regards to diversity, for the school has a student body that is mostly Hispanic. I am not sure what happened to the other demographics, but they have seemed to move onto to other choices in education. Nevertheless, my nephew went to kindergarten here. The teacher was fine at educating, and he progressed well in his studies, but he was one of only a couple non-Hispanic kids, and the parents were downright hostile because he is white. He invited all of the kids to his birthday party (despite never being invited to any of theirs), and was told outright from the other kids that their moms wouldn't let them go to the party. So, here we have a heartbroken 5 year old who has been told that the other kids aren't allowed to be his friend. It's a horrible situation and the school is aware of it, but won't do anything for fear of offending the Hispanic families. As I mentioned, the teacher (Mrs. Gray) was great and did her best despite the student body and administrative support. The only saving grace is that my nephew and his family will be moved into their new home and he will be attending a new school that has a higher score and a more diverse student body. Therefore, from what I witnessed and was told by my nephew, brother and sister-in-law, if your child is not Hispanic, prepare them to be the outcast socially. Hence, I can't recommend this school at this time!
