"Historic charm, close to the downtown area. Has a fair amount of quick conveniences and restaurants nearby: "
  • Trulia User
"Mostly everyone owns a dog in our neighborhood. Parking can be hard to find if your home doesn’t own a garage or “backyard parking”"
  • Trulia User
"It's very quaint and full of cute houses. The park is great. MLK center is great. Illinois and meridian streets are amazing."
  • Josh S.
"It’s a nice neighborhood. Friendly people, well kept lots, nice and quiet. I would recommend this neighborhood to anyone looking to move soon."
  • Trulia User
"Easy access to conveniences, restaurants, coffee houses and parks. Easy drive to downtown Indianapolis."
  • Trulia User
"Love old antique quality homes & original wood glass etc most homes are kept up nicely yet modern as well "
  • Trulia User
"Easy to get downtown as well as the suburbs. Bus stops are also nearby however Indy’s public transport is lacking. "
  • Trulia User
"Lots of sidewalks and quiet roads to walk on but limited areas for dogs to do bathroom or play at length."
  • Trulia User
"It’s a very dog friendly area. People are out with them everywhere. Lots of places to walk your dog! Also people do a good job of cleaning up after their dogs. "
  • Angela
"Butler is close by— college sporting events are accessible and I Like the performances at Clowes. It is a walking neighborhood"
  • Katie J.
"Lots of people litter and there's broken glass everywhere, even on the sidewalks. The garbage men don't even get out of the truck so if they drop trash, it stays on the street."
  • Monica A. B. K.
"It’s awesome. There are many kids in this area, however there are so many different schools, that many of the kids do not interact with each other due to going to different schools. For example there are several kids on our street however none of them know each other because they all go to separate schools. Unlike many neighborhoods where there is one school for the area, and all the kids on the street are familiar with each other. However we love it here and there are many wonderful families and children in this area. Very family-friendly."
  • Megan F.
"There are a few great parks in the neighborhood as well as an ice cream shop, cupcakes, pizza, a hoagie shop, brewery, coffee, pastries, a pharmacy, groceries, and a few hardware stores within a 5 minute radius. The crime rate still leaves much to be desired, but the community is great and we are working together to improve this neighborhood!"
  • AJAJAJ
"It’s an affluent neighborhood. It is close to many venues: clowes memorial hall, Butler, Holcomb gardens, The Meridian Restaurant, Broad ripple, etc. Nice sidewalks and streets. Lots of traffic. There are many nice things about this neighborhood. "
  • William H.
"Close to the highway and major roads,, main road to Fall Creek is always under construction. Very minimal potholes."
  • Veronicamholliday
"I've lived here for 10 years. Never any problems. Very entertaining area. Welcoming and Warm neighbors"
  • Alliharold
"The diversity, the people, the trails, the restaurants and the bars! Love everything about this area- so much to do and walking to and from places is accessible as well as there are great people and places to run!"
  • Mia L.
"I live here and I have bee in the neighborhood for a very long time. I love that the people are friendly and you can walk down the street to shops and stores."
  • yanksbr549
