Went here for all of middle school best school you can go to has lots of sports and isn’t a bad school at all best school I been to so far has toms of options lot of these reviews are from before there was a new principle in 2023 best school now probably the best in broward

We arrived halfway through the school year at a Texas elementary school, where my son attended 1st grade, and unfortunately, the experience was not the best. We ended up at Pine Lake Elementary because it was the school assigned based on our address.I want to be honest and fair by saying that not everything was negative, but unfortunately, most of our experience was disappointing. Communication with my son’s teacher felt almost forced on my end, as I constantly had to follow up just to speak with her and even to properly get to know her. I understand that teachers can be overwhelmed with so many students, but as a mother, I also have the responsibility to advocate for my child’s progress and well-being.My son would come home frustrated almost every day because he was bored in class and constantly mentioned that he already knew the material being taught. Honestly, most of the new things he learned this year came from the external after-school program I paid for, where he was actually being challenged and taught new concepts.His teacher also committed to beginning the process for a specific evaluation with the school therapist, but the school year ended and nothing ever came from it. There was never any follow-up communication, and no evaluation or support plan was ever completed.I do not want to generalize, and I truly hope that other families may have had different experiences. However, I also have to be honest about ours during the time my son attended the school.At this point, I have officially requested a school reassignment, and I’m praying to God that it will be approved.

The school tries hard to stay afloat: students are learning, and many staff members work incredibly hard. However, great teachers don’t seem to stay long here. The amazing English teacher left after what seemed like internal conflict. Meanwhile, despite constant complaints from parents and students, the worst teachers remain. I mean the Spanish and Media Studies teachers.Tracy Chandler (Spanish teacher) is the most concerning. She’s unkind, inconsistent, and grades unfairly - students get F’s and I's (!!!) on well-done tests. She treats students harshly and creates a toxic environment. My daughter, an honors student, received her lowest grade from this teacher after we respectfully raised concerns. Sadly, the school continues to protect her, damaging students’ well-being and the school’s reputation.
